This blog is dedicated to Dakota Botes, a beautiful 1 year old female husky in the hopes that it aids in the monumental efforts that are being made to bring her home.

DAKOTA IS MISSING STILL!!


Dakota is still missing since the 30th March 2012, in the Honeydew/Roodepoort surrounds, Jhb. For her safe return a reward of R10,000 is being offered by her distraught owners. All contact information is on this blog or her FaceBook page 'Bring Dakota Home'. If you live in these areas or know people that do, please share this, help by being observant in your local parks, dog friendly areas, you can call your local branch of the SPCA, a badge is on this site that will lead you to their website and relevant contact details, stopping to ask and spread the word to other Husky/Dog owners you may see on your walks with your pups.


Also please study her photographs to note her markings. She is missed greatly and even through such monumental efforts to find her, no relevant information has been forthcoming. Dakota is an exceptionally friendly dog and for her to vanish without so much as a sighting is so disturbing, she may have been picked up and adopted without the family knowing that she was not intentionally abandoned! Time may be moving on, but it has stopped for the owners of Dakota. Thank you so much.
